Back Pain PatientMr. Pronab kumar Mukherjee, 72 years , male was complaning of sudden pain of of back and was unable to stand even on 13/05/ 2014. He came in my chamber in a stercher. I examined him and diagnosed it as a case of PIRIFORMIS SYNDROME. Immediately after admission in hospital, I gave Piriformis muscle Block and discharged next day . He walked away from the hospital without even a wheel chair. He last visited my chamber on 27/07/2016 and he is now doing his all daily activities.
Knee Pain PatientMrs. Purnima Bhattacharya, 65 years,Female, came with pain in knee for last 2 years. She was diagnosed as a case of Osteoarthritis of knee and not wiling to undergo Total Knee Replacement. I gave injection of prolotherapy of knee and Strengthen the quadriceps muscles of thigh by my physiotherapist. Now she is almost 50% pain-free. She can now wait more for Knee-replacement operation.
Palliative Care Mr. S.B. Singh , 52 years , male, had a cancer on parotid gland and was operated on 2010. The tumour recurred on 2012 . He was complaning of severe pain and swealing on one side of face. He consulted surgeon and physician for that . He was refused by surgeon for operation and Chemotherapy was not responding at all. Surgeon referred me for palliative care of pain in 2014. I am giving him some oral medicines with gardual escalation of dose and he became 80% pain-free. Till now he is under my treatment and keeping his life nearly pain-free.
